	Byways Muskit

Our prize-winning stallion did exceptionally well in the show ring in Youngstock Classes, being Junior Champion or Reserve Junior Champion on many occasions. In the National Points Award Scheme, he was runner-up mini yearling colt in 2003; he won the mini two year old colt section in 2004; and won the mini three year old colt section in 2005. He was unshown in 2006 as he was running with his first mare, Byways Picola. She produced his first son, Byways Picotee, who is a lovely colt, and we are very pleased with him—see Foals. This much-loved gelding was shown very successfully over the years, but we now mainly concentrate on showing miniatures. We enjoy having just a few standard ponies still, as we have always had both. His dam is on our Gallery page.

	Kerswell Sapphire

This lovely Kerswell mare is now retired from breeding, and is living permanently with Rum of Brindister which seems to be an "ideal arrangement" for both of them! Her famous sire is on our Gallery page.

	Kerswell Rebecca

Becky had her last foal four years ago, on 31st January - not a good time! Also she had very little milk, and then stopped eating! Her colt foal, Byways Roulette was a real fighter though, and after numerous visits from the vet for either or both of them in his first week, he survived and has a super home "next door" to us, so we still see him a lot which is nice. He was born liver chestnut and white, but turned blue roan and white after his sire Rum of Brindister. Becky now has a lovely home as a companion on a small-holding also near us, so we see her often too.

	Byways Picola

Picola has a beautiful large eye and the temperament to go with it. We sold her as a yearling when she was shown very successfully. We then bought her back when she was three years old, and in-foal to Birchwood Indian Joe. The following year she successfully produced Byways Pipkin for us. She ran with Byways Muskit in 2006, and has produced a lovely colt foal, Byways Picotee, in June, 2007. (see Foals) Picola’s sire is on the Gallery Page. Now SOLD

	Byways Pipkin

We sold Pipkin to Marlene Pilott, who also lives on the Island, when Pip was 4 yrs. old. Marlene showed her successfully, but decided to reduce her numbers, so we bought Pipkin back in October, 2006, and she has been running with Byways Muskit since May. 2007. She has now been SOLD.

	Peatmoor Fudge

Fudge is a lovely mare with Kerswell bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree. She has a very good temperament, with a lovely eye, and is running with Byways Muskit hopefully for a late foal in 2008.

	Mignon Nutmeg

We bought Nutmeg in October, 2005, and she has now matured on well. She was shown lightly in 2006 with success. She has been running with Byways Rhythm and Blues since May, 2007. Her sire is on the Gallery Page. Under Offer.

	Byways Autumn Bracken

We sold Bracken when she was six years old to a lovely home, and then bought her back when she was eighteen to retire here. She is a very attractive looking mare, and has a really large eye, and is a lovely colour. We have shown her lightly in Mixed Veteran classes and she has always been placed.

	Byways Moon Magic

We brought this much-loved daughter of Moth, who did so well showing for us when we lived on the Mainland, over to the Island with us as a yearling. We showed her very successfully in Mixed Mountain and Moorland Youngstock classes here, and now she is on loan to a friend, who drives her very successfully, and Magic loves it. 	Byways Merry Melody

Midge, as she has always been known because she was such an outward going foal so Gordon called her the "Mighty Midget" !! We bred her and Magic the same year, and brought both of them with us to the Island as yearlings. We did sell her when she was six years old, and she was driven successfully then, but she has been back with us for nearly two years now, and we are very pleased to have her back.

	KERSWELL ROSELLE

Roselle is out of one of the Kerswell Stud’s best mares, Kerswell Radish (who is by New Park Chieftain). She is a very mature filly, with plenty of bone, and we hope to run her with Byways Muskit in 2008. SOLD

	Tawna Caprice

Caprice is carrying some of the Tawna Stud's best bloodlines, together with many top-class Kerswell ponies in her pedigree. She is a very striking show quality filly, with a beautiful head. Sire is on Gallery page. Caprice has now been SOLD .

	Byways Rhythm and Blues
	Colt. Two years old, born in 2005, 32.5 inches, Chestnut and white skewbald. Studbook Number: AR1585 Sire: Kerswell Smokey Dam: Byways Rhythm
Rhythmic is a beautifully marked colt, with nearly all Kersell blood-lines. He has New Park Chieftain on both sides of his pedigree. Both of his parents are broken coloured. He is now licensed, and has been running with his first mare since May. He has been a perfect gentleman with her, and she has not been seen to return. His sire and Grand-sire are both on Gallery Page. Rhythmic was for sale but is being retained at present .

	BYWAYS PICOTEE

Picotee has a lovely head, and straight action. He is halter-broken, wormed, well handled, and we are very pleased with him. He is FOR SALE.
